With more than 17 years in Fletcher Construction's Construction Division, Justin Johnson has built a career around innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Today, as Innovation Project Manager in Engineering Services, he supports Fletcher Construction, Brian Perry Civil and Higgins by helping teams explore new ideas and smarter ways of working.

Justin's journey began in 2005 as a Site Engineer. Since then, he has worked across several business units, including Pipeworks, Fletcher Major Projects, Brian Perry Civil and Engineering Services, gaining a broad understanding of the business along the way.

He leads innovation sprints and deep-dive workshops, and for more than three years has facilitated the company's Lunch and Learn series, bringing together internal and external experts to share insights on innovation and sustainability. He also manages the internal innovation knowledge-sharing programme, helping build a growing library of Innovation, Sustainability and Digital in Practice (ISDIP) resources that support bids, project teams and the Leadership in Construction programme.

Passionate about identifying new solutions to industry challenges, Justin is constantly exploring emerging technologies and ideas that can improve efficiency, enhance project delivery and create better outcomes for clients and communities. As a member of the AI Working Group, he is also helping to shape how the business researches, adopts and applies emerging AI technologies.
