Glenn Boyer
SuperintendentGlenn Boyer has dedicated more than 30 years to Brian Perry Civil and other Fletcher Construction businesses. Starting out as a labourer, he completed a carpentry apprenticeship and worked on projects across New Zealand before progressing into his current role as a highly respected Superintendent.
For Glenn, the satisfaction of construction has never faded.
“I love building things,” he says. “We’re never building the same thing twice. Every project is different, and that’s what keeps it interesting. I also love the camaraderie at BPC. You can talk to anyone, everyone’s approachable. It feels like a family business.”
Construction runs in the family. Glenn followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the industry, and now the next generation is forging its own path, with his daughter Hayley studying engineering at the University of Waikato.
Passionate about developing others, Glenn is always willing to share the knowledge and experience he has gained throughout his career. Whether mentoring apprentices, supporting young engineers, or helping site teams tackle challenges, he takes pride in helping others grow and build rewarding careers of their own.
