Will Adams
Senior Site EngineerWill Adams’ graduate journey with Brian Perry Civil began on the Waikato50 project, a fast-paced and critical infrastructure project delivered during a severe drought.
“I was thrown in the deep end,” says Will. “It was a large-scale project where time was of the essence to improve resilience in the water network. My options were sink or swim.”
Will embraced the challenge, thriving as a Graduate Site Engineer and gaining hands-on experience from day one.
“A lot of it came down to the team around me. We all had the same goal, and the culture was about working together to get the job done. The best part was learning by doing, not just by watching.”
Now a Senior Site Engineer, Will believes Brian Perry Civil offers outstanding opportunities for people looking to build their careers.
“Whatever direction you want to take, BPC can support you. I want to stay site-based and move into project management, but I know others who have followed design pathways. There are plenty of opportunities to find what suits you.”
When he’s not delivering projects, Will is just as busy at home. A recently married father, he even built his own house while working full-time, demonstrating the same determination and hands-on approach that has driven his career success.
